Nicko's Pizza and Subs

It’s a solid pie. I got a red and white meatball pizza and a buffalo chicken pizza. Both were good. But I like my pizza on the crispier side. I got one of the pies well done. It was nice and crispy on the bottom, but not overly crispy. I wish I had gotten the other pie well done as well. I just wish there were more meatballs on the meatball pizza. I’ve had other meatball pies with more meat. I’m typically not a buffalo chicken type of guy, but my gf likes it and I ended up enjoying it as well.

I called in a Buffalo chicken pizza and while I was waiting, I enjoyed a glass of wine at their bar. The staff and owners are extremely friendly and there are numerous beers, wines and seltzers to quench your thirst while you wait. I took a quick look at the pizza and immediately started drooling, haha. Once I arrived home(17 minutes away) I was thinking, oh man the pizza is probably soggy but I was wrong. The crust is thin, crispy and had the perfect amount of Gorgonzola and sauces on it, the only thing I’d like to change, would be chopping up the chicken so you’d have more tasty bites on each slice. I definitely will be stopping in again.

BEST pizza ever. Free parking in st Pete, a friendly staff, and great environment all around! You won’t be disappointed!! The owners are great people and everyone is always smiling :)

I went and checked out our new pizza place down the street from me today. Being an Italian from the tri-state area, it's extremely difficult for any Italian restaurant down here to impress me or for me to eat a slice twice from anywhere here. Niko's Pizza and Subs was pretty dang good. Made it exactly the way I wanted it oh, the pepperonis were nice and crispy on top there wasn't too too much sauce on it, it was crispy on the bottom and the crust was tasty...it was good! The sauce was very flavorful. I definitely enjoyed my slice of Pepperoni pizza. Next time I'll get the whole pie. From a pizza connoisseur who has tried them all up the Eastern Seaboard( literally).. I give this place the Italian stamp of approval. An 8 out of 10 for NYC competition and a 10 for a really great St Pete Pizza. 👍 and 2 thumbs up. Highly recommend 👌.

The pizza and the cheese steak were both awesome. Don't be afraid of the deluxe cheese steaks. They're really worth it. Strongly recommend the Macho Man as well. We'll be back for sure.
