The German Knodle

We were blown away! Vegan currywurst and fries were out of this world AMAZING! The owner provided amazing service and conversation; he is really proud of his made-from-scratch food!

Stopped in after coming from Grass Roots not too hungry. Was curious so ordered the wienerschnitzel and potato salad to go. Intended to take a few bites and save the rest for next day. The food was so good we couldn't resist nearly eating it all. The mushroom sauce was packed with flavor. Fries loaded with garlic were irresistible too. Craving more already. Gives us all the more reason to make the trip from Tampa to St. Pete. Really nice, ultra-enthusiastic owner.

Delightful authentic German joint with delicious food and special beer. Super pleasant and friendly. Get the schnitzel and you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended.

My husband and I visited this past Saturday. The owner is so friendly (and even brought us a small sample of another dish we might want to order on our next visit!). My husband said the bratwurst was incredibly tender and my schnitzel was delicious. The apple cinnamon knodle was the perfect dessert! There's so much hustle and bustle now on Central Avenue. Eating inside this little restaurant was great, as we could easily imagine ourselves transported to a little cafe in Europe.

This place is awesome! The atmosphere is really cute, and the owner was super nice. I had the schnitzel and it was delicious! I will 100% be going back.
