Fine place, decent food, what you would expect from a highway fast food place. The tea wasn't great, but the pricing is good.

Loved it! Very friendly! Fish & Chips, Planks, Shrimp done perfectly! Top it off with the famous A&W Root Beer Float! Sauced it up. I'm an over-saucer....

I ordered the two piece Thick Cut White Fish Meal for $7.79. Unlike the majority of fast food places, the "meals" at Long John Silvers do not include a drink. With a medium drink the total meal cost was $9.32. The "thick cut" pieces of fish were not quite as thick as a typical Filet of Fish at McDonald's. I prefer my fish blackened, but fried is acceptable when not too thick. Long John Silvers applies a very thick breading which masks the mild favor of the white fish. The fish under the breading was good. The French fries were crispy, and the hush puppies and Cole slaw were both acceptable. Everything had just been fried and was hot. While not a restaurant for those who believe fish can stand on its own without thick breading or slathered in tarter sauce, the meal was a nice change from the typical fast food restaurant fare.

The fish and shrimp were very good. We had the white fish and shrimp dinner. It was very good the sides were hot and tasty. My biggest complaint about Long John silver's is why can they not have fresh cut lemons? It's really hard to get good white fish here in Florida but Long John silver's is consistent tasty and well done still why don't I get fresh cut lemons? Again why are there no fresh lemons concentrated lemon juice in packets it's not fresh lemons we are in Florida we grow tons of citrus lemons are dirt cheap I hate to complain but fish without lemons or shrimp is awful please please get some lemons and then you guys are perfect. Did I mention that they do not have fresh cut lemons? oh yes I guess I did they do not have fresh lemons in a restaurant that serves fish? I hate to belabor the point but I always have fresh cut lemon with my fish.
