“This place is an excellent, authentic hidden gem in Auburndale. We were looking for something new to check out and are so glad we ordered! The food is fresh, hot, and authentic. We tried various tacos, tamales, a gordita, and the quesabirria which were all delicious. In addition to the food being great, the owner/service was very friendly and helpful; they certainly want to take good care of their customers and make you feel appreciated. “We were just there, I ordered a meatball sub with a bottle of coke, my husband ordered a steak sub with a bottle of coke. So they bring us one bottle. I said we ordered two cokes, not one. For some reason they didn't understand that. So then they think we wanted a fountain drink. Not what we ordered. They also need to tell customers when they have specials, not assume we know. All in all the food is good. But they need to pay attention to what the customer orders.”

“The food is amazing, the space is clean and spread out. But the reason I'm going to keep coming back and supporting this business is because of the owner's brother- Jason. He happened to see an older gentleman in the dining room with makeshift sling made from a towel around his neck and arm. Jason approached the gentleman and offered him his own sling he got from a doctor's office recently. The older gentleman accepted the offer and I watched his family bind up his arm in a more comfortable and supportive sling. This warmed my heart so much because acts of kindness like this are so rare these days. I could tell Jason really cared about this man. Thank you so much for showing love today. I will be back.”

“Dined in with my husband for the first time tonight. First impressions where decent. Service was fairly quick and everyone friendly. They gave Us our drinks in a Togo cup witch I thought was odd but I went with it. I would suggest to not order the sweet tea. Tastes like chlorine tap water. Popcorn also threw me off but hey if that’s what they are working with! We both ordered the 1/2 lb lobster with potatoes. To my surprise the food was absolutely Delicious. Lots of flavor and lobster was succulent. Give it a go!”

“This place is the future. I went out with my wife to go to Walmart to pick up some things, but she got sidetracked and desired coffee. We turn into this gas station thinking it was just large, but what we discovered was the gas station of tomorrow. The place was clean, friendly and helpful staff, and a milkshake making device to surpass all others. I wouldn't just go here for gas. I'd go here for the high quality milkshake machine, or the delectable sausages. The wide assortment of creamer dispensers and coffee varieties. The jerky end cap with a selection of cured beef to satisfy even the most connoisseur of connoisseurs. The easy to locate soft drinks. Did I even mention the frozen yogurt dispensing station? I could go on, but I'd rather you experience this euphoric location for yourself.”

“I got the beef brisket with coleslaw and flat green beans and I would go back there again for that in a heartbeat. Brisket itself nearly fell apart getting it on the plastic Fork that is supplied for your dining pleasure and the brisket had a delightful taste all on its own even though I did use both their sweet sauce and their mild sauce. The mild sauce has a little bit of a kick in the back but it's not too bad. I say this as a person who cannot take too much heat put enjoys spicing to flavor, not to burn. I even found the combination of both of them to be pretty tasty too. The place is kind of like a year round indoor Crab Shack. That is the only description I can think of to describe the place visually. the tables are like fold-down laminated tables. Sturdy and very functional. The chairs were a tad low because I'm a tall guy but still very comfortable and sturdy. They have the interesting condiment tray at each table where the paper towels are mounted on a wood frame that you pull them off of like you would if it was mounted to the wall. Underneath of that is the sauce, ketchup and whatever you need for a tasty meal and to remain clean during it :-) the waitress was extremely efficient and pleasant at the same time. Rarely do you go to a place anymore where they get you what you want almost instantaneously. The food comes fairly quick and when you're ready for the check it was amazing how quickly they did individual checks for a table of 8 in minutes.
