The Proper Pie Company

Definitely worth the 50 mile drive. Fish and chips were awesome. The scones, Scottish shortbread and Eccles cake were a perfect aperitif. My only complaint is the horrible music.

Had to visit this place to taste their pies. I had the chicken and mushroom pie and it was delicious, it was just like you get in England. Hubby had the cod and chips and the cod was cooked to order fresh and fluffy in good batter. We also tried the sausage in batter with mushy peas and curry sauce. Wish I lived closer so could have every week. We bought some cadbury bars too and crisps. We bought some frozen pies home and cooked them and they tasted delicious. We will visit here every time we go to Orlando.

It really needs more than five stars. The food was great, the service however was exceptional! We were treated like royalty! My family and I were well pleased! Haddock was yummy and the tea & scones was a special treat! I only wish I lived closer! Our friends invited us to join them on a new adventure to Proper Pie. We all enjoyed our choices of food. Three of us had the Cornish Pasty and one person had the Chicken, Broccoli and Cheese Pie. We all enjoyed our meal. The Pasty/Pie crust was very light and tasted great.

This place has THE best fish and chips anywhere in Florida. The best pies I've ever eaten and a wide variety. Friendly staff and fair prices. They also carry a large amount of English chocolate , condiments and many other items. It's a slice of heave for any Brit who's homesick and a marvellous place for ANYONE to visit. The crust was flaky and it was packed with filling. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
