    Delicious food, very generous portions, and great service. Highly recommend this place for a meal worth while.

    I was passing by and had never eaten here. The food is excellent and the portions are large, and priced right for the size. The service is fast and the staff is friendly. There definitely are a lot of locals here. I like the shirts, The roost rule #1-- Good food = Good mood.

    We have had breakfast here twice in the past week, including at 9am on Feb. 8. Probably the only Canadians in the place, judging by license plates.

    This restaurant on Hwy. 27 north of Avon Park is open only for breakfast and lunch now, and is often packed... families and seniors. the food is good and the service is friendly and efficient. (No longer open at dinner time as of this month.)

    Not fancy but a nice homey atmosphere. (See my photo.) I had two eggs, bacon, toast, hashbrowns, and coffee, about $9. So, good value if not "super cheap".

    Newly remodeled, new menu, great service, friendly staff...will return soon.
