“Feb. 28: had dinner here again, enjoyed it; beer prices are surprisingly low. Jan. 31, 2020 update: We are back in FL; my wife and I had dinner here at 7pm with four friends, and split the bill three ways. Food was great again as was the service. Busy since it was Friday but some people were leaving; they put two tables together for us and we got seated quickly. My 2019 Review: This place is definitely not fancy, but wow, the meals are really good.. Friends recommended it, so we had dinner here mid January. Nobody comes here for the ambience or the decor, but it was packed (as usual, apparently) at 5:20pm. Yes, they have ice cream but this is a restaurant too, with seating indoors and out front. We both had hot sandwiches (one fish and one Reuben) and they were delicious. We chatted with a regular who said ALL of their meals are just as good. Service was as quick as possible considering the crowd; friendly staff. It looks like a dive that I would normally drive by, but wow, the food was good and prices were reasonable. Guy Fieri should check out this place. Service was quick and friendly in spite of the crowds. A large parking lot, fortunately. In addition to indoor seating, they have a few tables out front with big umbrellas.”

“Today was my first visit here. Came here with a small business group. I decided to go vegetarian and get the rice and black beans with vegetables bowl. It was very good. One of my dining companions let me try some french fries. The main item on the menu is a mix and match whatever sort of thing. So you can get your own "stable", meat, sides, and sauce. It could be a bowl or burrito a taco or something they had lots of choices. The food was really good and the service was most efficient for Friday lunch time. The atmosphere is very relaxed and Casual. A very country type feel. Drive slow through downtown Frostproof. This is easily missed.”

“Went for lunch last week. At first we didn't think the place was open and almost walked by. I'm glad we didn't!! I had the roast beef with horseradish mayo with baby spinach, delicious!! My beau had the Cuban sandwich, which is his usual go to sandwich and he raved all day about how good it was. Definitely DO NOT pass this place by!!! Can't wait to go back.
