Mister Fish

This is a MUST PLACE to do take out at in Lakeland!!! We've been ordering food from Mister Fish Since the early 90's. It's a great place for take out on a Saturday afternoon, then walk down to Lake Morton and sit and eat by the lake.

Been meaning to leave this place its well-deserved five stars for forever. One of my all-time top five lunch spots in all of Lakeland. Yes. you may have to hold on the phone to order sometimes... yes, you may be trying to fight a lunch or dinner rush every now and then... but the food is completely worth it. For my money, it's probably home to both the best fish sandwich AND the best Philly cheesesteak in the entire county. Heavenly crinkle fries and sweet tea, too.

Place your order and grab a spot at one of their picnic tables any time you're hungry for great American fare and near the city library or art museum. I guarantee you will love it. Lots of good eats, good vibes, and memories here for me.

This establishment provided a very good experience to me and one of my family members, we got great customer service and very great fish and chips. The fish was a good firm crunch on the outside but a good fluffy inside without a bunch of grease. The chips/fries were cooked perfectly to have the crispness but light enough to not break your tooth on, it provided a very well rounded experience with something some places can't get right. Overall a very great experience and would highly recommend this food establishment to others.

Don't be put off by the way this place looks as it might not appeal to some. It's really small and attached to the side of a building. That being said, the food is amazing! Best fish sandwich hands down.

My recommendation is the large famous Mr. Fish sandwich with an order of hush puppies. Their onion rings are large and great too but I prefer the hush puppies.

It's a great place to grab a lunch and have a picnic on the lake since lake Morton is a stones throw away.
