“Wow!! This place Rocks!!!My taste buds were jumping like a disco!! Everyday they offer a special. The day I went it was a whole Maine Lobster with 2 sides..and they don't skimp on anything. I had the bucket with snow crab legs and shrimp. Even the coffee was good!! I am very impressed!!”

“My wife and I really enjoyed big Tom's diner. We have always heard good comments on Big Tom's diner, and this is the first time that we have ever eaten there. We very rarely go out to places anymore because of the lousy service that we have had in the past at other restaurants. However, the service that we got at Big Tom's Diners, and the quality of food for the price we paid, was well worth every penny that we spent. “This is a very cozy place with very friendly staff. The service was excellent. I got the "grilled" cod with green beans and creamed corn. The cod was very good. I wished they hadn't of drowned their green beans in bacon. I always forget to ask about that in these quasi Southern restaurants. The cornbread was very good. The white bread they serve not so much.. very bland. I went with my family which included two children. The kids menu included a grilled cheese sandwich and a pork chop. The kids liked their respective choices fairly well. My sister loved the shrimp salad. The menu has a lot of good choices on it. I will certainly be up for trying this place again someday. The atmosphere is very relaxed and casual.”

“This is a little gem of a sandwich shop hidden away in Auburndale. You could easily pass the shop up without knowing about it and miss the best Cuban sandwich in Central Florida. The soups are made daily and only with fresh ingredients( I suggest the broccoli cheddar) The sandwiches are made to order and well priced with good quality ingredients. “I had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious. The BBQ sauces they make are awesome, particularly the sweet and spicy version. The potato salad is fantastic and the baked beans have a hint of cinnamon which gives them a wonderful taste. I've tasted a lot of BBQ in my life, but the BBQ that Tymica and Randy make, is definitely award winning BBQ. The atmosphere is great, and quite frankly the food and ambiance is much better than Peoples! Tymica and Randy are great hosts and will go the extra mile to make sure you have a great meal. They serve breakfast and lunch only, and I look forward to trying out their biscuit and gravy one morning. I highly recommend this place if you want some fantastic BBQ. We definitely will keep coming back!! Oh yeah, their prices are quite reasonable! Their establishment is one of Haines City's gems!”

“I have eaten at Flightline two times and have completely enjoyed the food. The sweet potato fries are so delicious. The are cut like steak fries and topped with brown sugar. The fried tomatoes (I think they were yellow tomatoes) were topped with feta cheese and bacon and were delicious. The portions are generous. I had leftovers and the tomatoes were as good cold as they were warm. I also had the cheesecake and it was very much to my liking and I don't usually favor cheesecake. I went back to Flightline the other day and ordered the Firecracker Shrimp (not sure if that is the correct name) and the Caesar salad, both were delicious but I would not order them together next time. The shrimp were spicy and took away from my enjoyment of the salad taste. I do have to say that the shrimp were really good. I would definitely order them again, with a beer this time.”
