Anita's Restaurant

We moved to Sarasota in May 2018 and have enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at Anita's. The staff were all super friendly and the food always cooked to perfection. We are having friends over from the Kissimmee area and plan on taking them to Anita's for breakfast in the morning. Definitely recommend this restaurant. ????

Very clean, nicely decorated American style restaurant. Very good and friendly waitstaff. The food is good but not superb. I had the broasted chicken. It was perfectly cooked - crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Coleslaw was good, again, not superb. Flan for desert was very average and a bit disappointing. Pretty sure it was not homemade. They had the cleanest, nicest restrooms I've seen in a long time.

So glad we stopped by while staying in the area for a week. The waitress was very pleasant and friendly as was the rest of the staff. We were very happy with our selections for lunch( ceasar crunchy chicken wrap and steak and cheese sub) . The homemade chips were still hot when served. And the homemade buttermilk ranch dressing is so good it should be bottled and sold as a take home item. Will have to visit again for both breakfast and dinner.

We enjoyed our visit to Anita's. Our group of 7 had a varied list of food from omelets to salads to grouper and shrimp. Everything was excellent. The salad was fresh with excellent grilled chicken. Grouper and fries were tasty. Our server was very pleasant and kept us informed when there was a delay on our drinks due to having to make more tea. Would definitely stop here again.

My party of 4 all ordered the quiche of the day. All of us were amazingly impressed with our meals. Great service. Clean & pleasant restaurant. Will definitely go again. Highly recommend.
