This place was amazing. We got to meet Ms Audrey wonderful lady and the older gentlemen are fantastic. Food was excellent stew chicken falls right off the bone.
I normally don’t write reviews, but I have to because I absolutely loved this restaurant. The food was amazing, the service was top-notch and the restaurant was so clean. I had the oxtail dinner and my husband had the jerked chicken. We were on vacation for our anniversary and after our delicious meal, Ms. Audrey surprised us with a piece of Jamaican fruit cake topped with candles!!! Oh and did I mention the sorrel... and the beef patties?! Phenomenal! We will definitely be back!
We happened upon this place by accident and boy were we delighted! It was incredibly delicious and most of the menu was gluten free which is important to us. The chutney was amazing and the sorrel was so good we bought a jug! Definitely recommend this place to anyone!
Great people! Great food! Great Vibe! As an authentic Jamaican it warms my heart and pallet to delight in the delicacies provided here! Job well done! It wicked!!
Highly recommended.
I wasn't sure what to think when I found this place as it's not very easy to find and it's hidden behind a bunch of other buildings and it's extremely small so you wouldn't think this place has any business since it has no advertising on the road whatsoever. However, the food here was amazing. The chicken melts in your mouth and was probably some of the best chicken I've ever had. The rice and beans tasted so good I was tempted to ask the person I was there with if she was going to eat the rest of hers. The beef patty which is close as I can guess looks like an empanada was awesome.
There was a tremendous amount of food for the price that you paid but somehow I still left hungry and I don't quite understand that. The people behind the counter were so friendly and so nice that I will bring my family back here.
I wish I had taken pictures but even the pictures would not have done justice to how good this food tasted.
I ordered a Sorrel to drink and that was the first time I've ever had that. I loved it. I even tried the ginger and mint candy when I left which is free on their counter and that was fantastic.
