    This places always delivers great food. One of our all-time favorites. The Carbonara is fab.

    Years ago my friend & I would stop there for lunch. We hadn't had the occasion to be in Sarasota together for several years and looked forward to eating at Cafe Amici again. It was as delicious as we remembered! The dishes were generous and prices comparable to the area. I would go again in a heartbeat.

    The wine was good the food was fair. One of the ladies ordered the antipasto. It was poorly arranged on a small board. I ordered the fresh sea scallops with a side of pasta. The plate was not attractive as the scallops were dumped on the plate beside a lump of pasta. For a fine downtown Sarasota restaurant I was most disappointed. I have had better food at a chain restaurant in Atlanta. I will not go back.????????
