Mi Pueblo El Restaurante Mexicano

We’re from out of town and wanted decent TexMex cuisine. Googled this place and read reviews and looked good. Walked in an hour before closing, immediately greeted and told to sit where we liked. Good menu selection, kids and adults ordered favorites. Food was at the table in about 10 minutes and good portion size. Very attentive server, he came by our table no less than 5 times to refill drinks and make sure we were good. Very happy with this place and recommend highly.

Delicious Mexican. Love the chicken fajitas. Chips and salsa delicious. Orders always come out fast. Order take out and can pick up in 10 minutes always. Staff is pleasant and helpful.

Excellent food! Authentic Mexican that you cant find anywhere else. The employees are so very friendly and attentive. Jorge was the best waiter we’ve had!

My family and I have been going to Mi Pueblo on Bee Ridge for 20 years. It is not fancy, but it is clean and comfortable. The staff is very attentive. My grandmother is from Chihuahua, Mexico. I grew up in Texas. I know good Mexican food and I know good Tex-Mex. My mother lives in Austin, Texas and both of us love and appreciate the quality of the food at Mi Pueblo. Whenever she visits, she insists on going to Mi Pueblo even coming from Austin Texas and growing up in West Texas. Another truth is that my son lives in Manhattan. He likes Mi Pueblo better than any Mexican restaurant in New York. Mi Pueblo is Great!

The ambiance here is very welcoming and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Our waitress was also very personable and very polite. The one thing lacking here is a lot of the food. I have to agree with some other reviewers in that a lot of the cuisine here is mushy and tasteless. However, the sweet tea was very good.
