    Went there with two other couples. We had a reservation and we're promptly seated. The sever was at our table only a few moments after our seating.

    My wife ordered the Salute! special that included a glass of wine. She does not drink wine and the server suggested allowing one of our friends receive the wine.

    I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan and was blown away by the flavor and portion. The accompanying pasta was the perfect el dente.

    The owner stopped by a couple of times to insure we were having a good time. We will definitely go back.

    Food was excellent and our waiter Bill was even better. We have traveled the world and Bill was the best waiter we’ve ever had. Great atmosphere! We are a family of 5 and highly recommend Salute!

    We love this place! The outside patio has an awesome vibe. We are huge fan of good red wines and they have a wonderful wine selection, especially from Italy! Great appetizers and they have the best Branzino in Sarasota!
    Highly recommended restaurant!

    I’ve been here twice and the food was very good. Both times, though, we had a waitress & she wasn’t on the ball. One time, she had to read the menu out loud just to understand what was being ordered. I guess that was good? I half expected her to sit down next to me and go over it AGAIN.

    Salute restaurant is great for special dinners and receptions. Me and my wife had our wedding reception here and it was awesome! The food was superb! This was a surprise wedding for my wife and the manager, Laslo went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Him and his staff was professional, friendly, helpful, and they even set up the entire affair. All we had to do was bring our decorations and let him know how we would want the set up. We came in to find everything perfect and very nice. Did I mention amazing food!? All of our guest left satisfied and was saying how this place was a great choice. We were even able to have a DJ. I can go on and on about this restaurant, but I recommend it to all, to dine or to have a event this place is Awesome!
