SUSHI BAY KITCHEN&SAKE BAR

Our daughter wanted sushi for dinner so we stopped in and were pleasantly surprised by this little gem! Our sushi rolls were on point! I’m very picky about the texture of my fish and I was very pleased on the quality of fish and the unique rolls. Our server was very attentive and kind. Thank you for making our daughters birthday dinner special with a treat at the end! She was thrilled! We’ll see you again soon!

I am a sushi lover so I eat a lot of sushi and I was pleasantly surprised when I decided to try Sushi Bay Kitchen. We were immediately greeted and led to our table. (The restaurant is super clean and they all follow Covid procedures) They gave us a roll “on the house” and it was delicious. Actually everything we ate was delicious, the fish super fresh and the presentation breathtaking.

I decided to celebrate my birthday at Sushi Bay and it was the best decision ever! From the excellent service by our waitress Anna (who kept our glasses full and table cleared) to the most delicious sushi I've ever had. They also gave us 2 orders of an appetizer on the house. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and DELICIOUS. All of us were very impressed. They also dimmed the lights and brought out a plate of fried bananas with ice cream and they sang happy birthday. They went above and beyond to make our experience perfect. I'm so happy to have an excellent sushi restaurant just minutes from our house. Thank you again for making my birthday so wonderful!!!

Sushi Bay is my new favorite place for sushi in Sarasota. It checks off all of the boxes beginning of course with super fresh and incredibly delicious food. They have a number of roll combinations I’ve not seen elsewhere and overall it’s a great selection. (Personal favorite so far: The Spicy Mexican roll.) The service was great on our first visit as well - super friendly and not rushed at all. Honestly, I don’t leave reviews often, but it was such a good meal that I felt it would be wrong not to leave one for a new restaurant. I hope that if you’re reading this you’ll give it a try and help make them a permanent addition to this side of town.

Exceptional place! In fact I think it’s a bit of an overkill of our plaza. This place should be in downtown. We had lunch there today. Hibachi shrimp was delicious. Shrimp wasn’t over cooked, the seasoning was flavorful but not overwhelming. Good portion, professionally presented on the plate. Sushi was very good also. Atmosphere was delightful. Service was ON POINT! Waiter was attentive and quick. All in all, AMAZING restaurant. Will be back soon for more.
