“The food here is fantastic. The thing that keeps me from providing a 5 star review and appears to need a lot of improvement are the servers. They all seem like they're overworked and none of them smile at all. When one of them was asked for a rag to clean up a sticky mess on the seat before another customer sat down she rolled her eyes and when the customers said thank you, she never replied anything but rolled her eyes again. That's really bad customer service. In fact I am going to knock this from 4 stars to 3 because of that. Our server was very busy and it was not even busy when we came in. We saw her very few times. She was extremely nice when we did see her and kept the drinks filled but became super rushed when it did get busy. The food was great. No... The food was fantastic! No... The food was amazingly good. I will definitely come back. Our server, as little as we saw her, was still great. I only wish I would have seen her more. The tea was great and the desert was just brilliant. Please work on more training with the servers and probably make sure the servers have tables that are close together rather than separated apart so the customers can see their servers more and this place would be awesome. Thanks for the great food.”

“Their Pizza is delicious. The bread is as good as any gluten bread you could want. My daughter has never had gluten bread and was only moderately happy with this bread, but I think it's because it had kind of a sour flavor as per a gluten bread with yeast. We appreciate that it's not sweet. We had the key lime pie and it is good... 3.5 out of 5. I find that inferior key lime pies are loaded with sugar and have an overpowering sweetness. This one was pretty sweet, not as bad as many and the crust and creamy topping sort of balanced it out but the key lime filling was pretty dang sweet. Still, it tasted good and had the right amount of key lime flavor. It's great to walk in to a bakery and know that you could safely buy anything! Oh... 1 more thing... The ingredient list on the bread is good. Few if any red flags there. We were happy with our baked goods!”

“With some of the best waffles I've ever eaten the Toasted Mango Cafe has the best breakfast food I've ever tasted. I absolutely love the fresh mango and other fruit used on all the foods. Everything is very fresh and delicious. Aside from the delicious food; the service was extremely fast. I was very impressed. I went on a Friday morning, so I didn't have to wait for a table, but I was told that if you go on a Saturday morning the wait is very long.”

“Great group of people at the Gulf Gate Moose in Sarasota. We watched the Kentucky Derby there on Saturday night. The stick races played at the bar before the races were a lot of fun, even though we never won. They have the best drink prices around and Pauline certainly is an entertaining, no nonsense bartender!”
