Myakka River Oyster Bar

Amazing fried fish and delicious slaw as usual. We usually only come here twice a year since we reside in Colorado. Best place to dock your boat and this place is very kid friendly!

We kayaked there through the Mayakka river and I'll tell you what, Tracey served us at the bar and was a great server and entertainer! All the employees were great! I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

We.stumbled upon this place while exploring.the river. We are so glad we did. The food was good, service was warm and friendly,. Great oysters. The French fries were hot. The view was super also. We'll definitely be back!

This place is laid back, with a beautiful, river view, and great food. If you like clam chowder, this is your place! The servers and staff are very personable and are very good at helping with suggestions when needed.
We have tried blackened, grilled and fried fish of many types here and all are delicious! The key lime pie is spot on too. They offer an early bird menu if you're seated by 4:45 (averaging $4 less per meal, making most dinners $8.99). There is also a sunset special offering several $$$ off of some specific meals. We pretty much go here once a week.
Also, there is a ramp for entry, handicapped parking and seating options.
