Stonington's Fried Shrimp

Delicious shrimp and catfish fried to perfection. Breaded just right! The tartar and remoulade sauces were clearly house made and tasty. The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly. The Mac and cheese was super yum unfortunately it was served on the cooler side as if it had been sitting for awhile before it was served. Definitely going back.

Menu sucks since it's so small, fries aren't good, and all the food is fried. I don't give it less than 3 stars because the cornbread is to die for, and the person who took care of our order was super courteous and friendly. Also, the place looks super clean and well kept. The handful of menu items that they do have are good (except for the fries ????).

The shrimp are amazingly good!!! And the customer service is perfect. They make you feel welcome, your food comes out hot and fresh and always fast. I go in once a month and never ever had a complaint.

The food was delicious!
We had shrimp (which were split fantail), fries, cornbread (I love mine tender and sweet; it was just a bit overly buttery for me though, but I am not a huge fan of butter on my breads), side salad (I don't recommend the asking for the vinaigrette dressing - too much oil & not enough seasoning) had a nice mix of toppings, red beans & rice (I didn't taste those but my daughter said they were pretty good), and the onion rings (thinly sliced, were greasy, but tasty).
Although the prices were a little higher than I initially anticipated, when I suggested we eat here, they weren't excessive considering what you get. So... I would go again!

The shrimp don't disappoint. The catfish was great too with nice portion size. Mac n cheese and salad were really good...nice presentation as an added bonus. New fave spot!!
