Starbucks

I had a hair in my white mocha latte. The long blonde pony tail should be in a hair net to prevent this. Glad I saw it before I pulled off.

The last 3 weeks I have stopped on my way to the hospital to grab a Chai tea. I forgot to order my tea with soy and you think I'd ask for something complicated. The cashier was rude and annoyed. I offered to pay for the extra fee and was rudely told "I cant charge for just the soy". I left a tip anyway for the inconvenience but was shocked at how rude the red / pink haired guy was. He has been rude the last several weekends which is why I felt compelled to write this review. I love Starbucks and how they usually have amazing customer service. I will probably go out of my way to find a different one so I don't have to deal with this jerk again. This guy really needs to be retrained. I know it's 6am but seriously so many out there would love to have your job. If you can't live up to the Starbucks reputation for excellent customer service, find a new job.

The attitude lately is not good. I feel like Starbucks has a reputation, and the current employee at the window with the orange hair is not aligned with the reputation. There is no greeting, the tone is horrible, and 3 times within a week it’s something. if there is an issue, he is very loud. Everyone understands the precautions lately, but please if you are in customer service, and we are paying $16 for 2 coffees, have a better attitude, don’t be rude.

While visiting Florida I went to this Starbucks that my sister says she goes to regularly. It has an pleasant outdoor seating area (remember this is Florida and it is often sunny and warm outside). We parked in the lot and entered and immediately ordered four coffees. We were lucky to get two comfortable cushioned chairs (one for my mother whose uses a walker), and I sat at a counter facing the area where the workers make the coffees and other drinks.

Personally, I found the background music a bit too loud and distracting, but it was just bearable. I have been to one Starbucks in New York City where the music was up to full blast and very hard on the ears. Overall it is a pleasant place to have a coffee break. There is an outdoor window for customers who want to take out items, and the WiFi works very well.

There is a drive-through window for customers who prefer to order and take out. On my most recent visit in late-January 2019, while visiting my mother and a sister in Florida, we managed to find two plush leather chairs to sit in while enjoying our coffee drinks. I did notice, however, that the men’s toilet could have been a little cleaner.
