Delmonico's Italian Steakhouse - Oviedo

Normally this place is awesome - fantastic Italian entrees and great steaks. We've been repeat customers, but unfortunately this past weekend we were completely underwhelmed. Thankfully we made a reservation for Saturday night, but the food seemed like it took forever and we waited so long (20+ mins) for a simple dessert I had to find the manager and cancel it. They did comp our Appetizers for the inconvenience, so that was nice. I don't know if the kitchen was understaffed or the waitress had too many tables, but it was completely out of character for them. We've been there during non-peak times and service is normally excellent and food always hot.

First time customer! Ordered the takeout special. I could tell they were very busy but the food was worth the wait. The chicken and eggplant parmigiana were delicious along with the salad. The price definitely a plus. Love the young lady who brought my food out. She is smart beautiful kind and a hard worker. Even when people are unkind and lie in the name of food she still has to smile and get through her shift. Verbal abuse should not be tolerated by customers. I love you my child. Keep smiling even when people are rude and nasty. It shows your maturity level.
