Gators Riverside Grille

We ordered the grouper Reuben sandwich with fries. It was delicious. Served on rye toast with swiss and sauerkraut. I would say it's the best fish Reuben I have ever had. My friend and I split it, thankfully because we could not have eaten the whole thing alone. This is friendly place. The live music was excellent too. I will visit again. Good prices on draft beer too.

The views are very nice! If only the service was as good. My wife and 3 children ate here on a night where they had live music. The place was packed. I'm sure the number of people who were present for the live music had an impact on the long waits for food and drink refills. Had this been a night where it was only my wife and I, the wait would not have been that big of a deal, but with 3 children ages 6 and under, the wait was way too long. We enjoyed a constant breeze off the river with dockside seating. We saw two manatees and several boats travelling the river. An absolutely beautiful setting!

This is a wonderful out of the way spot that no one seems to know about. It’s right on the river with fantastic views. They have yummy food and beer and you can just sit at a table and enjoy the scenery. The staff are friendly. It’s a true hidden gem.

I just love the scenic setting in a marina on the St. Johns river. I was totally surprised at the size of the boats moored here so far in from the coast, they were huge and looked like ocean ready craft. The bar is totally laid back and filled with local regulars, lots of fun. They have great beer specials and a menu I have not tried yet.
