Wakame Japanese Restaurant

Great place to take someone or maybe even a date if you're not looking for privacy. Chairs and counter top surround a hot top grill where a chef cooks what you order right before your eyes. Big flames and lots of spatula tricks. Pricey at an average plate cost of $23.00 to $28.00 minus drinks and tip.

To me the sushi tastes too fishy and my Pad Thai was overwhelmingly sweet. The atmosphere is family friendly and a touch loud but it was a very busy Saturday night, wait was about 15 min. I feel like I'll give this place another shot on a less crowded night. The service was great though, they we're very attentive despite the crowd.

Food was good service sucks. Three hostess just standing around. I actually watched a couple get up and walk out of the restaurant. Great food is the only thing holding this place together. If they lose their chef's six months it's belly up on the market for sell because what I experienced from the staff won't cut it in such a close restaurant market. Food preparation and food quality get five stars the remaining employee's get two Stars. Just being honest if you can wait out bad customer service the food is awesome.

Good atmosphere, Awesome food, and wonderful staff. Would give 5 stars but... It Can be crowded on busy nights and parking is seriously limited (due to poor design of shopping center), so you may have to walk a short distance.
