10/10 recommend JC Fish House & Oyster Co.. The food, cocktails & atmosphere were phenomenal, in addition to the exceptional service Amanda provided us! We were pleased with the portion size an felt the prices are fair for the quality in which you receive. Moving from the Gulf Coast, we love our fresh seafood and the east coast did not disappoint. We are new to the area & have been searching for “our” spot and we have found it! We will definitely be back soon and will be asking for Amanda’s section!

Our dishes don't have more or less flavors. All the flavors were spectacular, eye-catching!
I thank manager Phoebe for responding to my 1st review. This made my partner and I return to the restaurant and try delicious starters and main dishes.
And of course, good service is also essential. Thank you for the excellent service provided by Caitlin!
Without a doubt, I recommend it to anyone who likes good food and a comfortable place!
We will be back soon to taste other dishes!

We stopped in on a late Friday afternoon for late lunch/early dinner. Avery seated us and brought our drinks promptly. We started with hush puppies with a yummy berry jam and fried grouper bites with a tartar sauce. Both were excellent, but those hush puppies with jam were so good! Then we had a lobster roll with truffle fries, and a fried grouper sandwich with macaroni n cheese. The lobster roll and truffle fries were amazing, the grouper sandwich was huge and very good. The macaroni was a disappointment, not heated thoroughly and just basic shells with a slice of cheese on top. So many other good things to try, not too big a deal. Avery even removed it from our bill, which although unnecessary, left a good feeling in our bellies. Highly recommend this cute restaurant, great service, great food, great ambiance. The Julington Creek Fish House has it all.

From the moment we walked in the door, we enjoyed this place. Had a party of 9, and they did everything to accommodate us. We had a table within 10 minutes, even though they were fairly busy. The whole staff were amazing people, very friendly and attentive. You’ll love this staff.

The food is also great. The blackened shrimp and grits were filled with shrimp, sausage, onion and great cheesy grits. On Thursdays, the special is whole lobster and a side for $19.99. My son ordered that with a Mac and Cheese side dish. He said both were excellent. The staff said that on some nights they have King crab legs for $12.99. They also have a great list of cocktails, wine and martinis to go with your meal.

I certainly recommend this place, and I will definitely be back and make this place a regular for our nights out.

I went for lunch with my husband around 11:30. Upon entering you truly do get delighted by the decor and esthetics. We waited about 5 minutes before we were seated. There was no hostess on the hostess stand but a waitress attending other patrons did acknowledge us and stated she will be right with us. Our waitress was very personable and attentive. We ordered the fried grouper bites for appetizers. The batter was very light. It didn't provide the crunch I was craving but it definitely did not take away from the freshness of the grouper. I do wish the grouper bites had more flavor and for the price of $18 was expecting a bit more of wow factor. I tasted salt of course but was expecting more a hint of something else. Husband and I just added a dash of hot sauce and black pepper to give us something more in each bite. Husband ordered the Lobster special on Thursday's which comes out to about $20 for a lobster and a side. His side was the truffle fries. He definitely liked the lobster but was a bit frustrated that he had to fight the shell. Most places usually cut the tail and crack the claws a bit to make it easier for people to consume. I ordered the fried red snapper which came with a side of rice and sweet plantains. I was also craving their pimento cheese grits so I ordered that as well. The fried red snapper was delicious and very crispy but still moist and tender on the inside. Definitely was my favorite part of the meal. The rice had the poke bowl rice flavor (poke sauce and spicy mayo) to it which caught me off guard but then again they do have sushi and poke bowl on their menu so I'm sure they use the same rice. The sweet plantains were well cooked and tasted just fine. However, my biggest disappointment was the grits. I don't know if it was the pimento cheese that gave it such a pudding/mousse like textured but I did not feel like I was eating grits at all. The flavor was good but I think the pimento cheese definitely overpowered the whole dish. Service was great! Food was good. And overall quite a nice food experience. I would probably go back with friends to try the lobster roll and lobster bisque but I don't think we'll re-order the same dishes we had.
