They were busy when I was there, so the water refills were slow but everything else was great. I had the fish tacos which come with a side of chowder for $15. It comes with two large tacos and it's delicious. Beautiful atmosphere and kind staff. Also the area is great.
Great spot for fresh seafood. The blackened fish (trigger fish this visit) over risotto was delicious. Had the fish tacos last time, those were also great. Good atmosphere and friendly service.
I recommend this to every person visiting St. Augustine, and every single person that I've recommended it to calls me and thanks me for the rec. This is one of the best seafood joints in town. The Shrimp and Grits are phenomenal. The atmosphere is laid back and generally casual. Expect to pay about $50 for a couple, but this place is well worth that price.
My wife and I went here on a recommendation of a friend, and OMG amazing.
For starters we had the deviled eggs BLT. Now hold on, this goes way beyond just a deviled egg. They top the deviled egg with a perfectly fried oyster, then they set the egg in bacon puree. The oyster was so tender!
For our entree we had the Land & Sea. This was easily top 3 meals I have ever had in my life and I'm 37. The scallops were cooked to perfection, coupled with pork belly that was marinated in root beer before being cooked to absolute amazement. All set on a squash puree with ratatouille as a compliment to the whole dish. Friends, you wont be disappointed if you get this dish.
To finish, we had the donut bread pudding. The donut bread was fabulous itself, but hold on it gets better. They top it with a bourbon Carmel sauce and rum ice cream. Served hot. My friends, Catch 27 is a must if you are St. Augustine, FL.
So amazing! This was the best lunch I have had ever. The flounder was seasoned and cooked perfect. The pear salad was delicious. The drinks were beautiful crafted, sip slowly. If I lived here, I'd be here all the time.
