The Manatee Cafe

Lovely little place to get vegan food. Went in with my wife and two children. We all had different options and they were all tasty. I had a pita sandwich which was excellent. Very accommodating with my 2 year old too.i would recommend.

I ate at The Manatee Cafe this week for the first time and was blown away. The Cajun Chicken Pita & Mixed Green Salad was to die for! So fresh, healthy, full of amazing flavor. Their prices are incredibly reasonable, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the cafe is allergy friendly (vegan and gluten free). I'll definitely be back and can't wait to try more!

I remember eating at the Manatee Cafe many years ago and really enjoyed it. They have been around for quite a long time and offering organic foods with some gluten-free options as well! The food and selection is very good especially the vegetable pizza. They have omelets and wraps and sandwiches always a gluten free bread option. the only area that I could see needs a little improvement is the service. We never had our server come back and ask how our food was or if we needed anything else. And also took a little bit longer than expected to take the initial order. It was friendly service but just not a complete service package. I will definitely come back though.

I have been patronizing Manatee Cafe for over ten years and have never had a bad experience. The management and staff are always friendly and extremely accommodating. The main thing that keeps me coming back is the food. In over ten years I have never had to sent anything back to the kitchen because my order was wrong or food didn’t taste good. Much respect to management and staff, you guys are doing an amazing job.

The Manatee Cafe is a St Augustine local institution. They offer a solid menu of vegetarian food. Everything is fresh and delicious. If you go there you know and, like us, have your go-to favorite dishes. Remember to order a side of the Nutritional Yeast dressing for your potatoes at breakfast!
