City Bistro Tea House & Coffee Company

Our hotel was next door and we saw the amazing reviews. So we figured we would see if they were as good as they say... The service and food did not disappoint!! I needed dairy free and gluten free options. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. Food was so yummy, was quick and the coffee was just how I like it!
The only thing that I would say was a negative thing was the couch. It was ripped and kinda gross looking. If the get a new couch, I would say absolutely perfect experience :)

I had my first visit to this place today. It was dim inside with an old man plucking away at the guitar towards the back. The food as advertised tasted fresh and was quite good. I had the chicken bowl and got to taste the ranchero bowl that my mom got. Both were very good and filling. The staff were friendly and they also offer many types of tea and coffee that I will have to try on return visits. If you're looking for a laid back place to eat and sip your choice of caffeine you'll like City Bistro.

PS: The picture is of leftovers of the chicken bowl. It tastes better than this picture shows and looks better in its original bowl as well.

Good coffee and teas, as well as great food! The menu changes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Great vegan options. Cozy atmosphere with comfy couches and lots of original artwork on display. I also love the yummy homemade flavored sugar cubes for the coffee and teas in flavors like chocolate chip, maple, and lavender. Great place to go with a group of friends.

Good coffee place, but their hours are kind of terrible. It's an early morning through mid afternoon cafe, don't go past 3pm because they're likely to be closed. If you do go while they're open it's great ambience, reasonable prices and friendly staff. Good selection of single origin and blends, including decaf.

EDIT - I stand corrected and they've got expanded hours. Five stars. :)

I was staying in St. Augustine for a few days and my hotel did not have a breakfast offering. City Bistro was nearby so I thought I would give it a try.

Great fresh gourmet food served in an appealing and artistic manner.. Big selection of coffee drinks at good prices. The dining area is comfortable with options between traditional tables, high top tables, and couches. The walls were laid out with local art. I really enjoyed the feel of the room and found it to be a very relaxing place. My only dislike was the track of 'over-produced' jazz music that plays a bit too loud through the restaurant speakers.

There was a slight mix up with my order but it could be due to the coffee that spilled in the check out computer keyboard just prior to my arrival.

I believe the restaurant draws in both traveling tourists and locals which is a sign that they can work both unique aspects of the business quite well.
