Fantastic food! Got the fried shrimp, & it was delicious as were the vegetables & hush puppies. Quick service when we were seated. We got there at 11:00 when it opened & there was already a line waiting. We were lucky & got in with the 1st group of folks who were seated. So do plan on a wait time.

Very good fried shrimp and country sides. The service was fast, and our server was very helpful with her suggestions since it was our first time there. It's a bit of a wait, but we enjoyed hanging out at the antique store next door which has an intercom inside where they can page you when you're table is ready. Make sure to park in the correct spaces or risk being towed.

Excellent place to go eat service was great you register outside but the wait time to get inside was 40 minutes but you get to wait outside or visit the antique shop next store and they call your name over the intercom that your party is ready. But its worth the wait the food is great. Will come back to this restaurant for sure.

Tried this place on last Tuesday for the first time. We came around 2pm Tuesday and still had to wait for 45 minutes outside. We ordered drink and food at the same time.to save time (kids were too hungry and whining). Food came up within 10 minutes. Shrimp is not that big like in many reviews have said. They were slightly bigger then medium size I believe. The best was not the shrimp (my wife cooks better fried shrimp ????). It was the spicy tomato clamp chowder soup. I don't think it's Manhattan clamp chowder. It's probably homemade clamp chowder. The homemade hot sauce in green bottles was very good. If you like the sweet taste in everything, then you need to try this homemade hot sauce. I love the fresh pickled cucumber. They probably started picking the cucumber the night before or early in the morning. It's a small and crowded restaurant. However, it was clean, well organized, and quiet (no music, no staff yelling, and most customers were retired people when we were there).

This place has the best fried shrimp that I have ever had anywhere. Being so good comes at a price, be prepared to wait up to an hour to be seated. The food is definitely worth it. You can walk a few doors down to the English Pub and they will call there when your table is ready. Again, it's worth the wait!
