Metro Diner

Great comfort food! You can find your typical diner fare, but it's a little nicer than, say, Waffle house or a greasy spoon. You can find breakfast items (eggs, pancakes, waffles), lunch (salads, a great selection of sandwiches, and more), and great drink options, such as mimosas. They have coffee and tea, but nothing more than black coffee, so don't expect a latte here. The coffee is still great, though. You have the option to sit inside--very typical diner style-- or outside on their patio. Great place for breakfast or lunch.

The pure diner feel of Metro was a welcome experience after the cardboard cutouts littered around every corner. The full menu of breakfast and lunch items has basically anything anyone could want, and with breakfast served all day, it was a delight even for dinner. The portions were gigantic and the entrees were piled high. After a day of walking around St. Augustine a s taking in the historic sights, it could not have ended on a better note. I will absolutely be stopping in the next Metro Diner I drive by!

The wait staff was pleasant and efficient. The pancakes were so good! Very tasty! The bacon was cooked perfectly and the sausage was a little spicy and delicious! I can't wait to return!

Loved it. Had great food and very friendly staff. Clean restroom. They stay busy so be prepared to wait but it's worth it! You wont be disappointed if you choose this restaurant to grab a bite! I'll be back again.

This place totally rocks! We have been there about four or five times. It's usually crowded because the food is so good, the portions are nice and large and the prices are very fair. For being a diner it has quite the nice atmosphere. We've always had a pleasant experience with the wait staff and the manager has come by on two or three separate occasions just to check on us... that's always nice.
