Service was great! But food was so-so. I ordered the steak meal. The steak didn't have any flavor, it wasn't a thin steak like Cuban restaurants normally serve, it was fatty and gristly. The flan was obviously prepackaged and the texture was more like a cheesecake instead of a custard. The shredded beef sandwich was delicious though. With the average meal plus tip costing about $15, it's way too expensive for the value and quality.

This is one of the best places that you can go to for a fresh inexpensive breakfast. The food is all fresh and local. I am a long time native of the area and really enjoy this gem. It is downtown on a side street a few blocks from the marina. The service is good and the menu offers a great variety.

Great place for breakfast too. Super cuban food with plantains and black beans. Cafe latte and more. I like sitting outside best. Wait staff were so nice and accommodating. It is a small place. Perfect for small groups - only one large table.

Food was great. Charming. The downfall was they were out of many items. That is my reason for 4 rather than five stars. Will try again when we are in st augustine.

Great authentic Cuban food. Great service. Great price. Arrived 10 minutes before closing time and they had no problem serving us. Told us not to rush. Very friendly waitress even though she was at the tail end of a 12 hour shift. These are the types of small businesses you want to go to.
