Everything was great. Server was wonderful. They took us shortly before they closed.
Whom ever engendered this building needs a lesson on privacy. I dont want some snot nosed kid peeping in on me while using the facility. All the money that is invested and they took a shortcut on the women's restroom door.
Great place. Went to enjoy dinner and that i did. The waiter Kurt was knowledgeable, offered his recommendations and knew when to come back and check on us while giving us plenty of time to get caught up on years past. The stuffed Plobano Pepper was super tasty and also the servers favorite. The pepper was stuffed with sausage, shrimp and light cheese. It had delicious full flavor and had a beautiful presentation with vibrant colours. The main course was perfect enough to allow for dessert even though i declined. It was truly a treat. Fun people watching and there were a few very happy dogs enjoying their masters company. Everyone seemed that they were enjoying their time at City Fire. The band was just setting up. I would absolutely go back without hesitation even though the price was average!
Mixed story. Hostess and waitress were nice. Manager was great, and food was good too. However, the hostess lead who is responsible for managing open tables and seating customers was totally incompetent. We waited 45 minutes to be seated when there were open tables.in the area we requested. I could go on but won't. I spoke to the manager about the issue and he offered a discount and gift card which was greatly appreciated.
This is a fantastic restaurant. We eat here every time we visit family in The Villages, and have yet to be disappointed with our meal. Everything from the French Dip sandwich to the Stone Flats have been amazing. The French Onion soup is a particular favorite. The service is always excellent, although we always do seem to have to wait at the hostess stand. Cant wait to go back when we're down there again this summer.
UPDATE: I just spoke to the manager, John, and his customer service and level of professionalism blew me away. That alone will bring me back.
I had been to this restaurant before and was blown away by the food quality. Today, that wasn't the case. Sure, I ordered the $9 slider special, but come on... I've paid less for more and better. These "sliders" were just slightly bigger than a quarter. I think calling THAT a slider is a gross miss appropriation. Mini or micro burger might be more suitable. Again, I expected a nice slider, but was massively disappointed. I would recommend this place, but I would NOT suggest the micro burger. At. All. That being said, the bartender was amazing and it's a shame my meal didn't measure up to his service.
