Ricciardi's Italian Table

What a great experience I had at Ricciardi's! Best little hangout on the square. The bartender Margo was an absolute breath of fresh southern hospitality. I know where I'm going when I want a great dinner and cocktails from now on.

For the prices they charge, they need to step up their service. We had a private event of about 12 of us and it was not a great experience. Dinner plates left on the table after we were finished while having birthday cake...drink glasses left empty. We had to take utensils from a table for the birthday cake. Food was just okay. Most likely won't go back again.

I was recently visiting friends who moved to The Villages in Florida. I had never been there before, but they brought us to an Italian restaurant in one of the Village Centers. The food was amazing.
The cost is moderate, but you get a huge amount of food. The ambiance is elegantly casual. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
We were a large group and the service was exceptional. Every person ended up ordering something different and everyone was thrilled with their food.
My only complaint would be trying to find it again. The Villages are huge and I would definitely have to GPS it. Also, the parking is awful; everyone who lives there drives golf carts and there's no actual parking lot for the restaurant.
If you do find it however, you won't be disappointed.

Food and Outside Bar area are great. Gregory, one of the bartenders, is a nice guy (once you get to know him)!!! Actually he's always great. The mussels are very good as is all the Italian food there. Best sauce outside of NY! Will always visit when I'm down in FL.
