“First time here, we are from Baltimore and were here to see family. Excellent food (I am particular, so trust when I say excellent, I mean it). They are busy on Sunday (cause close at 3pm).. especially this day b/c mother's day but service was great! Sam was our server/bartender and even with jet lag she treated us great. “Very friendly workers, clean bathrooms and good food. It was funny too because I was craving Asian and my Husband was hankering for country buffet. What a Godsend for weary travelers. Both types of food were hot and fresh and tasty. If I am ever back in Live Oak, I will definitely stop by again. The gal at the front was particularly sweet and just what we needed that day to say hey! I don't mind $20 for lunch if it's good.”

“Cheyenne was so pleasant when I pulled up to the window at this location. She was so perky and sweet and you could tell it was genuine. Once I reached the second window I was pleasantly surprised to find the same great attitude from the employees. This is by far the best experience I’ve had at a Wendy’s.”

“Friendly staff. Clean restrooms. This world be 4 stars except for the McDonald's policy of trying to direct people to the kiosk for ordering. I'm a techno-geek. I'm not afraid of technology. However, I like to order from a live person rather than a slower machine. I like to support workers who need their jobs. The very same person who directed me to the kiosk, after my saying I wanted to order from a person, stepped behind the counter to take my order. Now if they could improve the coffee-making technology to prevent coffee grounds from depositing into my coffee I'd be all for it.”

“Normally I stay away from Waffle Houses, I'm more of a Denny's guy. I don't think I've ever had a remarkable experience at a Waffle House until I've came to this one. The workers were what inspired me to write this, Jo and Dane were not only professional but courteous. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich with hash browns were perfect and Jo kept me entertained while always filling my cup of coffee. If you ever find yourself in this far away part of Florida, feel reassured that you're stopping at the best Waffle House in the county.”

“We frequently stop at the Busy Bee on our way to and from Orlando. This was our first time grabbing a bite to eat at the Burger King conveniently located inside. The service was great! We ordered and received our food promptly. I got the wrong chicken sandwich but they quickly fixed my order without any hesitation. Sierra, who was working the register, was very nice to me and my almost 1 year old. She was very friendly and gave my daughter her first BK crown after she played peekaboo with her from a distance while it was slow. Thank you for your excellent service!”

“Staff is friendly and the place is very clean. We had the Gyro's. The pita bread was soft and warm. The cucumber sauce is spot on. We also ordered potato salad on the side and it tasted homemade not store bought. We had a bit of a wait for our order but as I have said in other reviews we do not mind a wait for good quality food. That being said if you are on a lunch break or in a hurry we would recommend you call in your order. For the quality of the food the price was pretty much fair.”

“Ugh! Nothing like going to get a hot and ready pizza and having to wait on it! Actually I am fine with waiting on a fresh pizza. What I am not fine with is waiting 15 minutes for said pizza getting home and the meat being burnt! If it wasn't a 20 Mile drive back I would just take it back as I am sure they would do something about it! Normally we have good experiences here....not today!”

“We we're greeted upon walking in the door and seated very quickly. Staff was attentive and friendly. The place smelled of fire and smoked meats which I think is awesome! Menu was simple but had plenty of choices! I ordered the beef dinner with potato salad and cole slaw. My wife had the working man's cheeseburger with fries. Food came out quick and hot. My sliced beef was full of smoke flavor but a bit dry. The potato salad and cole slaw was fresh and crisp! The burger my wife ordered she said was more vegies than meat but said the burger was cooked well and had good flavor. The fries were crisp and hot. We never had to wait for refills on our drinks or for any service for that matter. Prices were very fair. Had it not been for the beef being on the dry side, we would have rated a 5. I will add the BBQ here is much better than the big place on the other side of Live Oak. A much friendlier place to go to as well!”

“Good food, good service. Pizza was decent, not exactly sure why but it had a puddle of sauce fluid underneath it. I have a sneaking suspicion the they use their pasta sauce as the pizza sauce, which tends to be wetter. Menu has alot on it, almost too much. Why does a Italian place sell BBQ? Prices are extremely fair, all around a nice place to eat.”

“Wanted to find a great place in Live Oak for a good meal. This place was close but not quite there. The negative things written about the service & staff seems to be mostly true. The salad bar is very small. The Mac & cheese is made with the fake cheese spread that comes is a big can. The cole slaw & fried chicken were good. The corn bread muffin is very small. Prices are about average. Sorry to say we won’t be back.”
