“Both employees I spoke with were friendly and welcoming. I ordered and got my food piping hot and fresh right away, and was guided to the warmed sauces. Very good BBQ pulled pork! My sides were Mac and cheese as well as fried okra. The Mac and cheese is out of this world creamy!! My portions were large and the meal was worth every penny. As a southern woman I value warm service and delicious BBQ quite a bit and I will be returning.”

Dont think twice about it, order up !!! -The second visit I got a woman that hated me, she refused to sell me the 5.99 plate I got before. So I got the 3.99 plate. It had extremely tiny baby sized drum stick and a very very very tiny piece of chicken, I got about 2 or 3 bites of chicken from all of it. I ask for red beans, she gave me black beans. I asked for brown rice, she gave me white. She left part of the order out of the bag. I had to go back. I guess it just depends on who is working when you go. The one I got on my second visit should be fired.”

They were attending to a latin family and even though the boy's were bi-lingual the mother had a hard time understanding but associates were patient. “Online it showed Bacon Cheese Burger 2 for $4. That's what we ordered but we're told it was 2 for $5 because corporate was doing that and they were a franchise and they were not doing the 2 for $4. So we paid and they weren't friendly at all. Very abrupt. Burgers cold and wouldn't even melt the cheese. Use to be a good place to go, but guess alot has changed. Advice for everyone is Not to go by the price you see online.”

“Place has character and great service. We were greeted, seated, and Nicole tended our dining needs. A cheerleading competition in the area added to a challenging crowd. Nicole never let us feel neglected. The loaded tater tots came without the listed green onions but Nicole quickly ran to retrieve them. The house salad is a bargain at 6.99 and far too much for two of us to split. They use Ken's Dressings which I was pleased to hear Nicole rattle off - not because I'm crazy about it but I've become accustomed to servers not knowing for certain. Nicole seemed to enjoy both her job and customers with all staff working in harmony. Good vibes. Support your local servers! These ladies were hustling!”

“This review is based off of two recent experiences at this restaurant. The first visit was a birthday dinner, everything went smoothly and the service was wonderful. I believe our server's name was Chad, he was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions. My family and I decided to return tonight and it was like a whole different restaurant. Our server seemed extremely overwhelmed. I'm not sure if he was new and it was due to lack of experience, but it took 2 and 3 requests to get bread, and drink refills. Our soup turned out to be extremely salty, in response to which he kindly removed it from the bill. My mother's $10 drink was mostly ice, twice. After visiting the disgusting restroom, we decided to skip dessert and simply leave. I would like to improve this rating hopefully after another visit in the future. The food, of course, was excellent as always.”
