“My uncle treated us to a wonderful meal here and I can't wait to bring my friends out here, it is worth the drive. Not certain scenery along the water, boats passing by at times. Great way to spend an afternoon. The fish I had was fresh and think breaded, very tasty. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. We stayed past eating just to enjoy the view and no one rushed us to leave, a nice crazy change from some of the more chain like restaurants in town.”

Down side is credit card machine was down so I couldn't leave tip unless it was cash. No worries reached in emergency funds for tip. Love the staff.”

“It was alright. A good local establishment that has been there for 40+ years. The food was above average and the wait staff was very pleasant. The lunch special was a good deal, 2 HUGE slices and a drink. The exterior of the building leases a bit to be desired, bars over everything, and the inside/tables could have been a bit cleaner, but you could tell this is where the locals go for food. I'd eat at this restaurant again if I was in the area.”

“It's hit or miss with this Popeyes. Depends on who's taking orders and who's cooking if you're gonna get good food in a timely manner. Sometimes the biscuits and chicken are amazing, sometimes they're mediocre, and sometimes your order might not come out correct. But, it's the only Popeyes in Deland, so if you're feeling lucky wanna take the chance, go for it! You might get some really good chicken and biscuits... And you might not. Good luck y'all!”
