Blackbeards Inn

This was recommended to us by a frequent visitor. Our group was so glad she did. The atmosphere is comparable to most seafood places, but the service was top notch. The waiter took care of all 9 of us, he got each order correct, and for some of the picky eaters in our group this was no easy feat. The food was amazing. I had boiled shrimp, scallops, fish, and a crab cake. The dinners come with a lot of food, the salad bar, where you can also get fish chowder, which was delicious, dinner rolls, and even a cinnamon roll, and a side. EVERYONE in our group loved the food and the service.

The best stuffed flounder I've ever had. My husband got prime rib and it was delicious. So tender you can cut it with a fork.
I've never had fish chowder before and tried it and it was delicious. Great service. Our drinks stayed full.
We got there before they opened and within 30 minutes of opening they were almost full.

Well worth the long wait! I was recommended this restaurant and loved it! I had prime rib and boy was it good! Wife had blackened flounder and it was good! Small salad bar and soup but who cares!

I considered this restaurant exceptional. You start off with the salad bar and Manhattan clam chowder along with the bread and cinnamon rolls. There's an expansive fish menu and steak chicken and pork. There is an early bird menu That's not as large as the regular menu but there is still a good selection. I am looking forward to going again.

The food is reasonable as are the prices. We wondered in at 4:30 and found that the place was packed, though we didn't have to wait long for seating. I had the haddock scampi that was cooked well and tasted pretty good. The rolls and the cinnamon rolls delivered in a little bucket were fresh. As stated the place was packed and as a result we didn't get drink refills until we were almost done with our dinners. The people were pleasant and we enjoyed ourselves.
