“We walked in and we were confused where to go because there were 3 different registers in the place. But a nice lady in the coffee corner waved us over, gave us menus, put in our orders and brought it to us 🤩 the coffee was great, I had a caramel iced macchiato. To eat I ordered a cheddar bagel with bacon egg and cheese. The outside of the bagel was nice and crispy and the inside was soft. The bacon was thick cut and perfectly cooked. I also ordered a Cesar salad to go for lunch. I haven’t tried it yet but it looks good enough to eat before lunch! My fiance had the western omelet and they WERE NOT shy on the veggies and cheese haha. The meals were hearty and the prices were great, we spent about 15$ per person and us a bigger people we left full and have food to take home.”

“The Local Bite was a very welcoming space. The food was delicious and the employees were kind and informative. We went for lunch/dessert and everybody was extremely pleased. I got the Lemon bar dessert; it was perfectly sweetened and had the most amazing taste. The people in my party were also very glad about the outcome of the visit. We were a party of 10 and were served with excellent speed. Jess and Cody are doing an absolutely amazing job. Keep working hard! “Planned a visit for our anniversary and enjoyed our stay. The location is wonderful and the rooms quite unique. Unfortunately, our friend had arranged to prepay for most of the room fee and asked for a card to be left for us indicating the gift and wishing us a happy celebration. While the credit was apparently applied, we were unaware as the balance was billed to ‘the card on file.’ This made for a very awkward conversation when it was mentioned to us, as we had not been able to thank our friend properly. As an independent inn, it’s unfortunate they couldn’t have made the small extra effort for us.”

“We stopped at the Tiki Bar on a whim as we were walking on the beach at dusk in search of some protein. The staff greated us promptly and warmly. We were able to order a burger and clams which came out timely and were nice and hot. The burger and the clams were both excellent. Love the location and the sweet little motel too. We'll surely be back!”

“Unbelievably yummy. Slow cooked meats, vegetarian options, flavorful fresh toppings, consistent flavors and composition. I would love to order just one taco because two is almost too much food. So glad the hours are posted now because I stopped by a few times and nobody was around. I think they put cheese on the outside of the tortilla before grilling, so when I bring my friends who don't care for cheese, I'll have to warn them. The bottled and house made sauces offered were tasty as well. I will return without a doubt. The patio is so relaxed and cute, perfect date spot. I'll be adding drool worthy photos of what I get in the future to this review. The hours on Google are wrong as of March second.”

“After a cancelled flight home we ended up at Crabby’s with one grumpy toddler and a hungry group. The servers were amazing and incredibly helpful and understanding. Anthony went out of his way to get my screaming 1 1/2 year old ice cream to cheer her up! They brought her food and drinks doing everything they could to make her happy. Atmosphere was awesome with a great view of the beach and ocean. Food was delicious! I had the crab cake sandwich and loved it. All in all it was a great stop and my toddler left smiling. Thankful for Anthony’s kindness!”

“Although it sounds counterintuitive, I have come to realize over the years that when one finds a colorful, unassuming restaurant on the side of the road ...the food tends to be delicious. Yummy Noodle has proven this assumption to be true again! The restaurant itself is spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming. The food is delicious! We ordered a range of dishes from Pad Thai to chicken with rice cakes. The owner graciously included a free order of spring rolls, considering it was our first visit. After finishing the meal we commented, “let’s come back here tomorrow!””

“This was the best meal we've had in quite a while! It's very difficult to get locally sourced, organic food (very important issues) that still tastes delicious, and Bird of Paradise knocked it out of the park! We got the "jerk bowl with tempeh" (the best tempeh made in Gainesville from my college years), and it was very flavorful and perfectly cooked. We also ordered the "avocado coconut dip with chips", and the dip was just the right amount of creamy and salty. To drink, I had a pineapple mojito kombucha brewed in Orlando that was light and refreshing. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was laid back island life with pops of color—even on this hot summer day, the porch was very cool and comfortable. We will definitely be going back and absolutely recommend Bird of Paradise for all to try, both locals and tourists alike!”

“Flew in to this airport restaurant while running some errands. During this time of COVID-19, we witnessed staff following CDC guidelines such as wearing masks, and sanitizing surfaces- a comforting and welcoming practice. We were pleasantly surprised by the upbeat and cheerful decor, and friendly service. We were super excited to try the Hawaiian themed menu- and the food was excellent! We tried the spam sushi, a poke bowl, and grilled chicken. They were all on point! Stop by and give this place a try- I think you will enjoy it!”
