Halifax Plantation Golf Club

My friends and I had a delicious lunch in the pub. My Mahi salad was just perfectly prepared. And our server was personable and attentive. The view is lovely, too!

Went to Easter Brunch today. Very good, service was great, no wait time to be seated. Brunch menu had prime rib carving station, salmon, chicken, sliced ham, a nice salad table with delicious seafood salad. The only item that might be improved on- served dessert. Wait staff came to table and recited 4 desserts. Not matching with the rest of the buffet, in my opinion. But that may be something they will improve on next year! Loved the food! Tables were a comfortable distance apart, so we weren’t listening to our neighbors.

Club house was super nice.
About 70 a round with cart.
Most of the path was cement.
Some areas broken cement.
The staff was great.
Par 4s are long.
Overall great. But only 4 stars. I have seen better for that price range.

Played as a single. Had joined a 4 some online but 2 cancelled so we were 2ball. One 4ball let us through, another 4ball (2 men 2 women) on the back refused to let us through. I told the pro shop, but they did nothing. No rangers on the course. Went around.
The greens are beautiful as they were recently rebuilt. Fairways are still fair, but still too much mud. Tees fair - some are severely tilted. Might be worth the money since the greens are so nice if somebody from the pro shop would help keep the pace.

My husband and I planned a destination wedding from Wisconsin and Stephanie with the golf club made it so simple.
She had amazing reply time throughout the entire year and always had a solution or answer to my problems/questions. She gave me a list of referrals for all kinds of vendors which I used almost all of her referrals for our wedding; the DJ, photographer, videographer, and rehearsal dinner spot all came from Stephanie's referrals.

The team at the golf club was even more amazing! We had Barbara and her team the day of our wedding and I swear I couldn't have done it without them. Stephanie went through all of my wedding decor and my vision two days before the wedding and the entire team set up and took down every single thing. My wedding party and I hardly had to lift a finger. And when I tell you everything was PERFECT...I mean it.

We had to make a last minute adjustment due to weather and the ceremony was held inside - no biggie, the team took care of everything and it was still beautiful.

The bridal party had a beautiful suite to get ready in and we were able to order off the menu for lunch. It was perfect. The space was large with a bathroom so we could all easily have hair and make up done, and change without any issues. We had a beauty squad of 4 plus a bridal party of 8. We fit without any issues. The guys also had a private area so we didn't run into each other at all.

Our food was out of this world. I have a dairy allergy and that was easily accommodated. Everyone loved the food and it came out in a timely manner. I was told the next day that the food was a little delayed and truthfully if that was considered a delay, they were spot on in my book! It didn't feel like our guests or the bridal party waited at all!

We had an open bar with the option of shots. The bartender was great and the line always moved quickly.

We had a wedding with roughly 55 people. The reception space was beautiful, the wood chairs really brought something extra to the space, we had our cocktail hour on the patio which was screened in and perfect for the Florida weather, and the venue had many places for photos. Everything was very cost effective too.

I feel like this review isn't giving justice to how amazing the venue, staff, food, and entire experience was. We are forever grateful to the Halifax Planation Golf Club for making our special day so perfect. 10/10!
