“I was immediately greeted and made to feel like part of the family. The food portions are huge, you'll definitely get your moneys worth. They also carry my favorite beverage. Baja Mountain Dew! And the fried pickles alone are worth the visit. Definitely a repeat customer for life.”

“Besides the fact that they all looked at us like OMG there are black people in here. The food was alright. Great price. Our waitress was nice. I would go back again. I had chicken tenders but my aunt had an omelet which she enjoyed.”

“Good food at a great price point. I had the blackened chicken lunch special for 6.95 and came with chili potato salad cookie and a drink that's why I come to these mom and pop places your dollar really goes further and the food taste great. Not your same old franchise good”

“I have gone to this restaurant since I was 4 years old with my parents. I am 54 now. Now I live in NC. I go to Mario's at least once every time I come to visit. I have never had a bad meal there. If you like good Italian meals way better than those chain restaurants, you won't be disappointed. The original family still owns and works there also.”

“Amazing little mom and pop burger joint. Delicious breakfast and lunch! I have been several times over the past few weeks with my boyfriend and his mom and I love this place so much. The cow decor just adds to the amazing food and atmosphere you experience here. Well worth a detour to stop and eat here.”

“Bamboo Garden is a hidden gem in Ormond Beach. I have been eating here for over thirty years. Tonight was a treat. I had the special which was a Lemongrass Basil Chicken dish sith rice noodles. It was delicious! My table partner had the butterfly shrimp and fried rice. The plate was so pretty when it came out and the food was also delicious. Some of the BEST fried rice in the area. Will be returning to this forgotten gem again soon.”

“I go here for lunch. I love the blackened chicken sandwich when they make it right, it's the best around. And resonably priced. Their fries are also different then most fries taste very good. Sweet tea like mom used to make. The waitress Tiffany is very attentive to your needs.”

“Was looking for something different for lunch today and when I saw the sign, I knew I wanted some good homemade Thai! I had only eaten at the Thai Woodhouse once, right after they opened a while ago, and had a great experience so I decided to give it another try. I would have returned sooner but I live/office out of Port Orange and was in Ormond today and stopped in. At first I was a little concerned that at Noon they were a little busy and with only one server (the owner), I wasn't sure if I would be able to get served and out in 30 minutes. Also the menu seemed pretty pricey for lunch. I usually like to pay my $10 for smaller portions at most restaurants and go. When it comes to Thai food, I am not very adventurous and was craving a chicken satay, a ginger salad and some mild noodles. When I added all of these up on the menu, I realized I needed to modify my cravings to avoid a $30 lunch tab. Again, they should have a lunch menu of small combos, so you get your taste fix at a lunch budget. That may be the #1 reason they only had a few tables occupied at 12:30, when otherwise they should be busier. At these prices (for lunch) it is a special occasion lunch place, not an everyday one. When I looked at the menu (literally dozens of choices) and tried to figure out how to afford the lunch I wanted; I noticed that chicken satay was not on the menu? What, a Thai place doesn't have chicken satay - they certainly had it the first time I had been there? When the waiter/owner approached, I told him I was craving chicken with the peanut flavoring of a chicken satay and he suggested that he could make something special (not on the menu) that I would like. Not food adventurous AT ALL; I said OK. What followed was not only one of the BEST THAI dishes I have ever tasted; it was one of the best meals I had ever had (of any cuisine) PERIOD! The plate featured thin shaved chicken breast, sweet onion, Thai peppers (on the mild side) broccoli and some other vegetables (I can't recall or name); tossed in this sublime, translucent glaze of peanut, coconut and Thai curry flavors that defies adequate description or adoration. I am giving the Thai Woodhouse 5-Stars, forgiving them the higher lunch prices and not having my favorite go-to chicken satay; principally because the owner listened to what I really wanted and delivered a dish off-the-menu that rocked my world! I will be back much more often - most likely for dinner. Ask him for his NEW chef's special: Chicken Pra Ram - he might just make it FOR YOU!”

“First time there and I liked the taco salad, although the crispy bowl tasted a bit stale. Parking is easy and servers are friendly and helpful. It is neat and clean and presents well. I will return and try another menu item.”

“I've been eating here for over 15 years . . . and for good reason. It's a bit pricey, but if you want fresh Jewish/ Mediterranean-style food it's hard to beat. It's very traditional, only Jewish people working there (same woman at the register and grill for a very long time), and very fresh food.”

“A place in Ormond Beach Florida. A must try the Roast Beef with Horsey Sauce. Grab a sack of potato triangles instead of the fries. Great crew that works till the doors close at 11pm. It has been busier then usual so I recommend coming lol going there early! Enjoy! Tell them Bob n Jan sent you.”

“Inconsistent at best. Their number 3 is supposed to be three taco supremes and a drink... good luck with that. Last two times I've been there, payed for supreme and got regular tacos. This Taco Bell used to be on point. Never got an order wrong.”

“Better than your average Mexican restaurant. Staff was very attentive and nice. I ordered the jalapeno margarita. Wow what a great drink. I ordered the chicken special although I don't remember the name of the dish. Pounded chicken breast smothered in cheese, then topped with peppers and onions. Very good. Ate it all. Chips and salsa we nice and fresh and included a ranch mayo spice dip that was a little too sweet, but it would depend on your taste. Nice atmosphere for family although there is a long bar right when you walk in the door. We will be back.”

“Great food! Always a full meal with enough for doggy bag. Separation in layout allows for diff. dining experiences. Service is always pleasant and accommodating. Best N.Y. style desserts. Music never so loud as to interfere with conversing. Clean! Even the restrooms. All elements N.Y. style, middle of the road pricing, never a visit with regrets. More than I can say about other places I've eaten in (in Fla.) Which says a lot coming from the N.Y. area.....and we tend to expect proper service and "gd" food. Quality has not changed since they opened. Owner knows his customers are the only way to keep a business running. Very friendly.”

“My wife and I walked in for the first time The prices are just too high. The deli was nice and the people who work there are nice too. They are always busy.Guess we are not healthy food buyers.Read a comment made recently and that person has a problem thinking you and your staff discriminate. These people do not discriminate and the people of Ormond Beach dont discriminate. You also bad mouthed Luckys and Nova Community Center and then you call a shopping mall in Sanford GHETTO and dirty..Good luck to you .This is called Love Whole Foods not Whole Foods”

“Very nice restaurant, with no real dress code. We were seated quickly and our meals were hibachi which came with soup and salad. They customized the soup and salad for me. I asked for no mushrooms in my soup and they allow you one of three choices of dressing. The variety of meals for hibachi were plenty. We enjoyed sesame chicken with some shrimp. Will definitely be returning.”

“I went on Saturday to get a sub. When I got back to work I found out it was not like I ordered. Called and talked to the manager who told me when I came back in the sub was on them. Went to get the sub today and the manager made it herself. Best Sub!! More important is that they make no excuses and take car of the customer. That means a lot in today's world. Thank you so much!!”

“The food was amazing and hot, the drinks was on point. I would go to this Chili's again and again. It was pouring raining and we was drenched wet. The amazing Waitress even turned the air off during out dining time. I haven't been to such an amazing Chili's in a long time that was this good.”
