Energetic and friendly staff, excellent sauces and toppings. Clean and comfortable furniture and facility, even had a jewelry ship nook at entrance. A bit pricey but excellent seafood. We enjoyed good deviled crab, mullet, shrimp, bay scallops, tator logs, cheese grits and rice n beans, also has a full bar on site.
My family and I were here on vacation and it was pretty good. They seated us in the back which came with a view and we were secluded enough in case our baby started fussing, which I appreciate. The server, May, was the best part of our experience. She knew the menu like the back of her hand, had suggestions, recommendations, and was prompt with every piece of our meal. The food itself was typical seafood restaurant quality. We all had something different and every dish was good respectively. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the restaurant needed a some updating and the out of place jewelry stand right at the front door. Other than that, it was overall a pleasant experience and would return if back in the area.
Recently, I was invited to celebrate my Birthday with a visit to Angelo’s and it was a perfect experience on a gorgeous day.
I enjoyed a fresh red snapper stuffed with a rich crab filling and a terrific gin martini. May, was our server and she was attentive, friendly and helpful.
The wait was brief and it was on a sunny and breezy Sunday afternoon. We were even able to enjoy a post-meal stroll on the bridge.
This was my second visit to Angelo’s and first in many years. I have no reservations about highly recommending them for their exquisite food and drinks. The service was equally as exceptional.
Recently had a get together there. Note...this place is very popular and a unique location and building. Food is authentic and fresh. Their entrees come in small or large portions. My broiled flounder and shrimp was excellent!
5 Stars plus, Excellent service, The most delicious steak I've ever had, cooked to perfection, and awesome Grouper gumbo. Angelo hasn't lost his touch. Even better than I remembered from 40 years ago. Thank you Michael, our wonderful server and Angelo's for the wonderful meal. Hopefully it won't take as long before I can come back again. Highly recommend this place to everyone.
