Love coming here when we are at Shell Island Fish Camp. The staff is very friendly and the owners are always there to say hello. We always go for the raw oysters. Great Place!!!

It’s a little expensive if you go during dinner time, but it definitely worth the price and any wait you experience. They don’t focus on getting the food out quickly but rather the quality of the food you get. You definitely won’t go hungry, even if you just get appetizers as I did.

Their seafood gumbo is definitely worth being it’s own meal despite it being an appetizer, especially if you get their hush puppies as well, as they are cooked perfectly and quite sweet.

My boyfriend and I went on a Sunday evening after a day at the beach not really expecting much, but we were absolutely blown away. The food and the service was amazing. We both got grouper in different forms - he got the sandwich and I got the plate. Huge portions of noticeably fresh and perfectly blackened (our fave preparation, but you can get it grilled or fried too!) grouper came with both along with tasty sides. Our waitress was awesome the whole time even though she was dealing with an unruly customer when we walked in. She handled it with poise and did not let it affect her ability to serve us or any other table attentively and with a smile.

We will without a doubt be back sooner rather than later to enjoy more fresh food and friendly faces at Posey’s :)

This is the absolute best I have ever had!!! I ordered the seafood platter. All grilled with fried oysters....perfection. seasoned right. Cooked right. Tastes right. These hush puppies will definitely make you hush your mouth cause you'll be too busy shoving them in it. And if the scallops don't bring a tear to your eye the fried oysters will make you ball like a baby. Perfectly fried and lightly breaded. Like an angels wings on your tongue and melting away in your mouth like your stress on the beach on a sunny day. And the portions.... well let's just say I'm no twig and I took home a doggie bag... but the dog ain't getting it. If you don't eat here you're missing a lifetime event.
