The food is alright, didn't really hit the mark. In my photos you can see that there is essentially no difference between the chicken fried rice and hibachi chicken besides adding some vegetables. Having smaller veggies added to the rice and more variety would improve the taste. This might just be to save time and cost.

Other menu items I've had just don't taste authentic. It is the only Japanese style restaurant in Defuniak, so it's the best we have for now. Service is good and they are always timely in my experience, just wish the dishes were tastier. I have yet to try some of the raw sushi, but the tempura shrimp roll was pretty good. I'll be returning but I would like to see improvements.

Had a fantastic lunch here today. The service was amazing and fast. The food was so delicious I had the salmon hibachi, crab rangoon,and the fried cheesecake. I would recommend this place🤤

Atmosphere was great. Please remember if you are visiting in the next few weeks this is a new restaurant and will need time to figure out what works best. Our server was a sweet young girl. It is her first job so mistakes are understandable. Timing on getting food out in the correct order or remembering what comes with what meal will get better with time. For now our family will be going back for the sushi. It was phenomenal. Their Jalapeño poppers (sorry no picture, family ate it to fast) were very tastee. Also a must try.
