The food was fresh and the made from scratch biscuits are so good!! The service was fast and friendly. We enjoyed it

Our family visits 30A nearly every summer. We have some favorite brunch spots (Chanticleer, Crackings & Perfect Pig) but also like to try new spots each year. Today is our first time at Scratch Biscuit Kitchen. Tropical Storm Fred is expected to make his appearance today, and many restaurants have shut down, so I’ll start by saying we truly appreciate this establishment being opened today! In spite of being short staffed, as most other places are due to Covid, the employees were all friendly. They were really busy, so we had to clean off a table with spray & a rag that was set out on the trash cans since no one seemed to be working the dining room. The food was average and coffee was extremely weak. We are a family of 6, so a wide variety of options were ordered. The hash brown casserole was yummy enough to go back for seconds. I’m including a photo of the Deep South biscuit sandwich. I was disappointed in the quantity of fillings. It was lacking and could’ve benefitted from larger fried green tomatoes, more than 1/2 a slice of bacon, or perhaps a fried egg.

The jalapeno jam is delicious. I wanted to buy a jar to take home. The food was great. Definitely will come back if I'm in this area again.
