The Chicken Shack

chicken shack is a perfect place if you favor a decent portion of unseasoned food. the garlic biscuit that comes with your meal is the perfect size for an American girl doll, and the sauce provided is very runny and diluted. it does the trick at filling you up, but of all the food options nearby, i wouldn’t return to this one, even though the pricing is fair.

Fast and friendly service. Everything came out hot and delicious. The breading on the 2 piece chicken (white meat) is crispy and seasoned nicely while keeping it juicy on the inside. The sweet potato tots were great - crispy on outside and mushy on inside.

As a New Yorker, who has lived in Virginia for the past three years, this is the best chicken I have ever had in my entire life. Not only do they give you a combination of light and dark meat, but they do it in the most delectable way I have ever tasted. The combination of sauces is absolutely delectable. Zippy Q sauce may have been the best sauce I have ever tasted in my entire life. I would drink this stuff. I would bathe in this sauce. I will be telling my children and the generations following about this chicken and the amazing experience I had today.

Food was good my only complaints is that it took over 35 minutes to get our food and when we first ordered we were the only customers in sight and the bun on my chicken sandwich was stale. Food was flavorful, we enjoyed it.

Best chicken tenders I've ever had. The flavor is insane! The serving sizes are big (I had already eaten most of my food in this picture) and every bite is amazing. They also have a ton of different homemade sauces that pair really well with the chicken and fries. Worth the trip!
