My husband and I ordered Fire It Up BBQ from Grub Hub. The food was amazing! For the price, you can’t beat the portion sizes - at all. I ordered the pork plate with coleslaw and green beans and my husband ordered the brisket with Mac and cheese and onion rings. We also got a banana pudding because what is BBQ without banana pudding?? Everything was amazing!! The onion rings were so yummy - most unique breading flavor we’ve had - definitely made you crave more. The coleslaw is a mayo based slaw that’s a finely diced and a little on the sweet side - but it’s perfection. Seriously, I could have eaten the onion rings and slaw as a meal. You will NOT be disappointed by Fire It Up BBQ!!!
Also, GrubHub got it to us in less than an hour! (We were given 65-85 minute window of delivery at 6 PM on a Saturday night)
Little chaotic with how they are setup. It's more of a buffet line and probably should be waiter/waitress style place. It makes it difficult with kids when it's busy getting through the line. The BBQ was good. The desserts (banana pudding & peach cobbler) were very good. The fountain drink machine was out of Coke, Sprite and lemonade. All and all I with mixed feeling about it.
I'm from Texas and am used to high quality brisket from places like Cooper's, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that Fire It Up BBQ's brisket was among the best I've ever had. We asked for some from the fatty end if and it was extra moist and flavorful. The macaroni and cheese was also fantastic, and the people working there were very nice. Highly recommended.
Their brisket is delicious! I moved from Texas and have been searching for good brisket. Theirs was juicy and seasoned perfectly. The gave me a large amount of meat and I ended up taking some home. I HIGHLY recommend stopping in. I will definitely be back with my family.
The ribs here were AMAZING. I like a lot of Texas dry rub and these had it, and not a heavily salted rub, but all kinds of herb/spice flavor. Great moisture. I would drive way out of the way for these ribs. The brisket seemed to me "pretty good", very moist, not quite as smokey as I like, but pleasantly rubbed. The okra was nice. It was a bit salty for my taste, but I do like something on okra - not just fried. It may seem odd, but I have to give these guys 5 stars just because i try the ribs everywhere and almost never see something this good.
