Huddle House

If you like dinner and theater go to the Huddle House on Ocmulgee East Blvd, Exit 6 between Macon and Dublin. You can listen to the district Manager, the Manager and all shift employees discuss the business of the Huddle House so that all customers can hear it. Professionalism says you don't discuss problems you have with your employees out on the floor where your customers may hear it. Neither should you talk about the customers you serve that pays your tips and wages..... And yes, I've heard it on all of the shifts. But the one waitress today that decided to argue back with the customer.......... REALLY??? I've given this place chance after chance, I've held my tongue too many times, I have put up with poor service, raw food, watched employees walk into work high on drugs or walk out the side door to smoke a joint while working, hoping the Managers would at least notice the type of service being given, but to no avail. I believe in giving chances because people have bad days, but when it becomes a pattern it has become a problem. Then the district manager goes over to the other customers, which by the way are my parents, to apologize for the customer's behavior...REALLY? What about her behavior as a district manager bashing employees. So, when I call her out on it she agrees and tells me I am right. She has taught those underneath her very well...how not to be professional.

I want to say she was the manager.. this was a pit stop in our travels. She had an amazing attitude, knew everybody that walked through the door, treated everyone like family and the employees very professionally. I’m a property manager and I admire her work ethic and everything in between. She should be a regional trainer!

Good solid food, not overpriced! Very good service and not a gouge you’re kinda place. Only problem I have ever had is bacon is more sweet than salty.

Very nice staff. I also love the coupons always a great deal. Eat here often when I meet my husband at the truck stop
