“This place is something different. I really enjoyed the whole experience. And it is that. Some will say it is too pricey for chicken salad lunch, and well yeah it is but........it was worth it. There are several different "flavors" or the chicken salad so there us something for most folks. Not too much mayo like everyone else has. The decor is hilarious, and cute at the same time.Their sense of humor is spot on. All the way down to the bathroom signs. The mens room particularly. All the staff must be on happy pills.( I mean that in a good way) they were all helpful and cheerful. Their service was fantastic and food was really tasty. Definitely worth a try! Well done ladies.”

Chalk it up to "growing pains or learning curve", I don't know, but damn, this is good food. And, the strawberry butter is everything they say it is. Amazing. Changing from two stars to four.”

“Great food.... Good prices... Wasn't thrilled about cashier walking to the back while still holding my debit card in her hands after she had cashed me out while in the drive through. Seems she had "forgotten" to tell the kitchen staff something. I froze card and changed it the very same day. Was notified 3 days later that a charge was attempted to be made on my frozen card to a place I never visit. Glad I followed my first mind!”

No iced tea, no spinach dip; lemonade tasted awful, black bean burger was no longer being served, pork sandwich wasn't on the menu and ordered a caesar salad with chicken, but got a garden salad with fried chicken. The service was very slow. The server apologized several times for the delay with our food. When we finally got our food, it was very good.”

“I went to D's Friendly Diner for the first time today. A friend of mine told me about their omelets so I decided to try one. I ordered the veggie lovers and it was one of the best omelets I've ever had. It was packed with so many delicious vegetables and even had the perfect amount of cheese. Lot of average to below average ones out there. The food is super. Had General Tso's before. Egg drop soup. Southern Palace, over the last 6 months, got a low sanitation grade so we haven't been back. If they could get their grade back up to a 95 or better, we'd return.”

“This was my second time having lunch here. I got the black bean burger. The taste was very good, but the bean patty was crumbly and it was difficult to eat with your hands like burger. Essentially, the whole outside of the patty fell off and I had to eat it with a fork. I do like the option of getting fruit salad on the side instead of chips; it was delicious.”

“As I was exploring downtown Statesboro with friends, we came across Eagle Creek Brewing Company. We were in the mood for a drink but were in a surprise for more. As you walk into Eagle Creek, it has its own charm. You can literally see the brewery where all the beer is made; which you would think would hurt the ambiance but actually adds to it! And the beers themselves, talk about delicious! I am not a beer drinker but I became one that night. They have a variety of flavors perfect for whatever season you come in for a drink. But that's not all because we didn't realize they served food! You haven't lived until you've had one of their burger cooked in beer. SO GOOD! They have different events that go on every night and we caught them on Wednesday, their open mic night. The music that we heard, played by the local artist in town, helped set the mood for the night. My friends and I will definitely be returning for more, drinks, food and chill welcoming environment; and the prices aren't bad either, I felt like I got more than my money's worth!”
