Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

To me the best part of Cracker Barrel,is the vast array of interesting items for sale. One thing is their selection of old timey candies. I'm not a fan of the food. To me it's mediocre. I've experienced several disappointments, like mashed potatoes cold in the middle, vegetables either swimming in buttery water or some kind of bacon grease thing. The ones that aren't, are their hash brown casserole. I always get the feeling of being rushed too. Their wooden chairs are the most uncomfortable to sit on. Which kind of sends the idea of eating and get out. The rockers out front are very nice tho. I still will go there, because the first one I went to was in Savannah, and the breakfast I had was so good! I keep hoping this one will get better.

Stopped for breakfast while visiting local relatives. Very personable, efficient server. Food seemed to take a while coming out, but maybe we were just really hungry and it seemed that way. Love the store and the goodies they have!

DELICIOUS!! EVERYTHING we ordered was delicious!! Grits, ham, biscuits, eggs, sausage, catfish.... I think we had one of everything! Our waitress was very attentive and came to fill our coffee cups often... love the atmosphere, love the store... never disappointed here!

Cracker Barrel is a great restaurant to eat at when you're travelling inter-state. There's almost one every 10 miles off the exit. Also a bonus when it's located next door to the hotel you're staying at. This one had great service and some tasty comfort food. Also the buttermilk cheesecake was a knock out of the park!
