Seagles Restaurant

I was very unsure when walking into this restaurant...it needs a major facelift and I thought I would immediately regret this decision. There was only woman waitress and her first day. She did phenomenal. Talked to everyone, was friendly, and ran her poor butt off. Food was delivered in a timely manner, and she kept a smile the whole time. And what a suprise when my shrimp scampi arrived. It was DELICIOUS! the shrimp was good but the start was the mushrooms...I will definitely be back. Don't let the appearance inside fool you. Slow doen, enjoy the water front view, and food.

Went during the Mardi Gras parade, which was rained out so business was probably slower than expected, yet they still only had one bartender/waitress on duty to serve the entire bar. Ordered a shrimp basket, the fries were burned and cold upon arrival. The waitress was very busy, being the only one there, so will cut her some slack, but she was a bit testy with customers who didn't order efficiently enough to her liking. If I'm in St. Mary's for another event and the rest of my party wants to go here, I'll likely join them, but it wouldn't be on my list of recommendations.
