Comfort Suites Savannah North

We stay here a lot when we come to Savannah. It is very convenient to surrounding areas. The rooms are clean and staff is friendly. This is also a pet friendly hotel. Free breakfast is hard to beat!!!

My wife and I stayed here last year with our two children, while we were visiting Savannah. The staff were very courteous and kind and the rooms were delightfully clean; we also enjoyed the hot breakfast in the morning. Based off our previous experience, we decided to return this year without the children for a longer visit to Savannah. The hotel appears to have had and is currently going through some renovations. New signage out front was installed during our stay. The landscape surrounding the hotel is beautiful and welcoming, especially compared to some of the other hotels we’ve stayed at. They just installed a fire place in the lobby and in the eating area, which I’m sure in the fall and winter gives that comfy home feeling. Complimentary fruit water and coffee in the lobby is a nice touch. Staff once again are wonderful and put off that southern hospitality vibe. New gym and equipment. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. It seems as if the company is under new management and is making some really nice upgrades. For the value and recent upgrades, you can’t beat the price. We will be returning next year.

This was a decent hotel for the price. The office staff was welcoming and friendly. The room was clean. The hotel has updated the decor of the room but needs to upgrade the heating and air system. I didn’t even use my system (which made for a rather warm night) because it was very loud and smelled of mold. Good free breakfast. Given the price of hotels in the area I see this as a reasonable deal.

For the price, this is definite 5 stars. Clean rooms. Clean pool and hot tub. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. About ten miles from river street. Plenty of parking. Worth a few minutes extra drive.
