Basils Pizza & Deli

Amazing food, great service, a playroom for your kids... Great place for families to come and have a great dinner while the kids can run around or relax to some TV and not interrupt other people.

We left Tybee and really wanted a good slice of pizza and this place did not disappoint! The pizzas were delicious, they have excellent salad options, I had an amazing chocolate toffee mouse and the server was so amazing and attentive, even with it being a busy Saturday night! Plus they have a kids lounge where my kids all hung out waiting for food and they really liked not having to just sit and wait! I highly recommend you check out this great local joint!

Food was delicious. Better than I’d have imagined. Service was poor. Slow and not super friendly. I’d go back though, expecting same food quality and hoping for better service.

It’s always a great dining experience when we eat here. We love to stop in after we take our family to the beach. The salads and pizza are always fresh tasting and made with the best ingredients.

For me personally, the best pizzas I have ever had anywhere have come from Basils on Wilmington Island. The crust is as thick and tasty as I could wish, the sauce is rich, and they dont skimp on the ingredients. The staff are genuine, friendly and efficient. There's usually a nice crowd, sometimes for trivia night, sometimes for the live music, but most often just because it's a nice place to hang out. As well as the full, friendly bar they have a family-friendly full menu restaurant and a dessert bar, between. You're doing yourself a favor if you go.
